Privacy notice
Last updated: October 2026
This notice explains what we do with the details you give us when you send an enquiry through this website. We keep it simple: we only use your details to reply to you and to arrange your stay.
Who we are
This website is run by the owners of Westwinds, a holiday home in Tenby, Pembrokeshire SA70 8JD. We are responsible for the personal information you send us. To contact us about your information, use the enquiry form or reply to any email we've sent you.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive:
- your name and email address
- your phone number, if you give it
- your dates, number of guests, whether you're bringing a pet, and your message
If you go on to book, we may also need your address and payment details to take your booking. We'll explain this at the time.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and confirm availability and price.
- To arrange and manage your booking, including sending arrival information.
We use your details because you've asked us to respond to you and, if you book, because we need them to fulfil the booking. We won't send you marketing, and we never sell or share your details with anyone for their own use.
Who handles it for us
- Netlify hosts this website and receives the enquiry form, then forwards it to our email. Netlify is based in the USA and protects data sent there with standard safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
- Our email provider stores our emails with you.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't become bookings: deleted within 12 months.
- Booking records: kept for 6 years, as required for tax records.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also object to how we use it. Just get in touch and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
